Well, way back in mid-July, when we broke-up, for the holidays, it seemed that Summer would never arrive, and it was difficult to imagine the middle of September would be upon us, in a flash.

Now, it feels like the sunshine we had for a few weeks, has packed its bags, and taken itself to brighter climes.  So, just on cue, Autumn, is offering its welcome to us all, and the Autumn Leaves will soon be falling.

I’ve always loved this time of year – especially being able to plodge through the dry leaves, on my way to and from school.  It is quite likely, that I was singing quietly to myself, or in my head, as I did so – there was usually music travelling with me, whatever I was doing…

It was probably ‘almost’ my favourite season, despite the fact that my Mother wouldn’t allow me to wear school-colour tights like most of my friends.  I had to wear short, grey socks and Hush Puppies, with my Winter uniform – lucky ole me – eh!?!

We are really looking forward to getting back into the Sing Out Loud swing of things, with some superb new songs, and a few old favourites.  So, please be there, early, to collect your song packs, and catch up with your Sing Out Loud pals.

Then, it’s on to the serious business of singing!!  We’ll soon, all, be back in good voice, and enjoying our regular Thursday evenings, together.  It’s a great way to spend an Autumn evening, and is most definitely worth leaving your fireside, for – regardless of however cold it may be, outside.  🙂

Luckily, we plan to start the new ‘year’ off – as usual – with a wonderful warm up, to get you going!!

A demain…
